There’s something about waking up on the Gulf Coast in the morning that makes it hard to leave, and our residents will tell you the same thing. Bay Saint Louis is a small town with a lot of character, mild winters, and a location that keeps you connected to everything the region has to offer.

Our cottages are located within the full Shady Acres community, so you have access to everything in the park. The beautifully landscaped grounds, mature shade trees, stocked fishing pond, covered pavilion, and community firepit are all part of daily life here. We also have on-site laundry, shower facilities, propane service, and a dedicated dog playground for residents with four legged friends. One of the things we’re really proud of here is the long term community we’ve built which is frequently mentioned throughout our 5 star reviews. It’s a friendly bunch here at Shady Acres.

Our location is also hard to beat. Buccaneer State Park beach is five minutes away. Biloxi and the casino strip is about 35 minutes east along Highway 90. New Orleans is roughly an hour down the road, and the Amtrak station in Bay St. Louis is a quick 15-minute drive if you’d rather let someone else do the driving into the city.

Cottages at Shady Acres come with park-wide fiber Wi-Fi included and a six-month minimum stay. They are not fully furnished, giving you the freedom to make the space your own and really settle in.
