Park Rules
A Few Simple Rules for a Great Stay
We want every guest to feel safe, welcome, and comfortable. These rules help us maintain the high standards reflected in our 4.3-star Google rating and 35 five-star reviews. Thank you for doing your part.
Community Hours
Quiet hours: 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Propane service available 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Laundry room, bathrooms, and pet playground open 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Rent & Sites
Rent is due on the 1st of each month. Payments received after the 1st are considered overdue and may result in immediate lease cancellation.
After your lease expires, it can be renewed on a month-to-month basis.
No subletting of sites, cottages, or RVs.
All trailers must be in good condition and able to be moved at any time.
Pet Policy
All pets must be approved by management prior to arrival.
No dangerous breeds under any circumstance.
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times, except in the pet playground.
Pets must be supervised at all times, including in the pet playground.
You must clean up after your pet at all times.
Pets are not allowed inside any buildings and must never be left unattended anywhere in the park.
All pets must be up to date on vaccinations. Cats must be spayed or neutered.
Vehicles & Parking
Speed limit in the park is strictly 5 mph. Please obey the one-way traffic system.
Parking for up to two vehicles is available at most sites.
No parking or driving on the grass.
No vehicle maintenance or car washing on site.
Do not park vehicles on concrete slabs or grass.
All vehicles must be fully insured. Vehicles are the liability of the owner, not Shady Acres.
General Community Rules
Visitors are welcome but must be accompanied by a resident at all times. If no parking is available at your site, visitors must park in the visitors' car park at the entrance.
Children must be supervised at all times, especially around the pond and roadways.
No firearms or fireworks.
No loud noises or hi-fi radios.
Anti-social behavior including fighting, drug use, or drunkenness will result in immediate eviction. Guests and residents are expected to dress fully at all times.
Only degradable items may be flushed. Cleaning cloths, disinfecting wipes, cotton buds, and personal hygiene items must be disposed of in the dumpster.
Trash must not be left outside your site. A household garbage dumpster is located near the park entrance. All other items must be taken to the local dump on Bayou La Croix Rd.
